Abdulrahman Abohajeb is a US-based Yemeni researcher and activist. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in conflict analysis and resolution at the Carter School, George Mason University. His research focuses on how social and mass mobilization influence conflict dynamics and promote peaceful resolutions that serve the public interest, rather than the interests of conflict actors. He advocates for conflict mediation and resolution in internationalized armed conflicts that are locally driven but externally supported through empowering local traditional leaders.
